Infinity Pool Designs
Infinity pools (sometimes referred to as infinity edge or vanishing edge pools) are a style of swimming pool that gives the appearance that the pool has no edge, it simply vanishes into the horizon. In many cases only one edge includes this swimming pool design feature, and it’s created by building a perimeter overflow allowing the water to flow over the edge and into a catch basin and pumped back into the pool.
When vanishing edge pools “vanish” into another body of water, the allure of infinity pool design is magnified to produce a stunning visual effect. In this example, the pool appears to empty into the St. Johns River behind the property.
